About Us

Who are We?

Waco Christian Academy is a Junior High/High School that began during the 2023-24 School Year. WCA is affiliated with Mt Carmel Schools, in Jackson, KY. Dr. Lela G. McConnell founded the main campus 100 years ago in 1925. We are accredited through ACSI (American Christian Schools International), and recognized by the Kentucky Non-Public School Commission.

Our main focus for this school is to disciple believers in their walk of faith. Our goal for each student:  "Every day to be a better person, academically and spiritually, than what I was yesterday."

 Our beliefs are looked at as a Wesleyan interpretation of the scriptures. We take the scripture with a literal approach. We believe that the Bible is our firm foundation.
